Dr June Tan graduated from the University of Queensland in 2007 with a degree in Veterinary medicine and surgery. She then moved on to intern at a Small Animal Hospital in Sydney before returning to Singapore, where she practiced at an established veterinary clinic in the East. Dr June Tan has performed numerous routine and elective soft tissue surgeries on both domestic and small mammals. She has also previously lectured at Temasek Polytechnic, teaching students enrolled in Diploma of Veterinary Technology.

Her special interests include Veterinary Dermatology and Surgery. She has also completed the University of Sydney Post Graduate Foundation CVE Veterinary Dermatology Course and has also participated in the continuing professional development course on rabbits and rodents by the Royal Veterinary College, University of London.
